Artist's Description
I was photographing some cayenne peppers that I had grown, and became inspired by their crazy shapes. I had lots of fun creating this silly face, and it always brings a smile to those who see it.
About Patricia Overmoyer
I am a 1977 graduate of Cornell's School of Architecture, Art & Planning with a BFA in Fine Arts, majoring in painting and printmaking. Upon graduation I received the Goodwin Sands Memorial Medal for "exceptional merit in art". After a long hiatus, I have recently resumed my art career, currently concentrating on digital photography. I live with my family in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York State, and have enjoyed finding and capturing the extraordinary beauty in and around our 86-acre property. This setting affords a rich variety of subject matter from which to draw inspiration, from expansive vistas to the tiniest of natural details. I am particularly excited by light and shadow, and water in all its forms,...

Patricia, I like your style! I love to play with my food too! This is so cute and interesting. Thanks for your visits and votes. You cracked me up on one of my photos you suggested using FLOATS or BUOYS as "Beaded Doorways".. that is so funny! That sounds like someone I would do. If you saw my house, you would realize what a great suggestion that is.. I use buoys down in our boathouse as "curtains" or a blind.. so your suggestion was great! Anyways, back to YOUR photo.. love your creative charm Patricia! FV

Thanks! I will. Actually, I had considered it earlier, but thought your group was just about faces that had been "found", not "created" like this one was. But I guess that's not the case. I have another face that I have created from this year's pepper crop. Once I do a little editing on it, maybe I'll submit that one too!
