About Patricia Overmoyer
I am a 1977 graduate of Cornell's School of Architecture, Art & Planning with a BFA in Fine Arts, majoring in painting and printmaking. Upon graduation I received the Goodwin Sands Memorial Medal for "exceptional merit in art". After a long hiatus, I have recently resumed my art career, currently concentrating on digital photography. I live with my family in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York State, and have enjoyed finding and capturing the extraordinary beauty in and around our 86-acre property. This setting affords a rich variety of subject matter from which to draw inspiration, from expansive vistas to the tiniest of natural details. Thanks everyone! Wild turkeys are such comical birds! They often walk in single file. They're so heavy, they usually save flying for emergencies or getting up to their nighttime roost.
