This is an untended area of wild plants and bushes (some call them weeds) all decked out in their fall colors. Their natural arrangement and range of beautiful colors are a fine example of God's handiwork. This image was captured from afar, and a painterly texture was also incorporated to give it a soft, spiritual quality.
About Patricia Overmoyer
I am a 1977 graduate of Cornell's School of Architecture, Art & Planning with a BFA in Fine Arts, majoring in painting and printmaking. Upon graduation I received the Goodwin Sands Memorial Medal for "exceptional merit in art". After a long hiatus, I have recently resumed my art career, currently concentrating on digital photography. I live with my family in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York State, and have enjoyed finding and capturing the extraordinary beauty in and around our 86-acre property. This setting affords a rich variety of subject matter from which to draw inspiration, from expansive vistas to the tiniest of natural details.
